Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanagh faced a lengthy grilling at the capitol on Wednesday. Kavanagh refused to address a question by one of the panelists whether a sitting president should be subpoenaed.
President Donald Trump threatened on Thursday during a campaign rally that he will “get involved” if the Department of Justice and the FBI don’t start doing their job right.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime lawyer and fixer, appeared in a New York Federal court and pleaded guilty to eight counts. Cohen admitted that he had made illegal campaign contributions in “coordination and with the direction of a candidate running for federal office.”
Tech giant Microsoft confirmed on Tuesday that it has executed a court order to close down at least six websites linked to a hacking campaign by Russian intelligence. The hack was targeting right-wing think tanks, government institutions and Microsoft itself.
