President Donald Trump blamed the Justice Department on Thursday for the investigations surrounding him. Trump, in particular, criticized the deal that prosecutors struck with his former lawyer Michael Cohen.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime lawyer and fixer, appeared in a New York Federal court and pleaded guilty to eight counts. Cohen admitted that he had made illegal campaign contributions in “coordination and with the direction of a candidate running for federal office.”
Economists are becoming less confident about US economic growth in light of Trump’s trade and budget policies. The experts are also not convinced that the current gains coming from the GOP tax cuts will be sustainable.
